Mafia is 150 km south-east of Dar es Salaam, just off the Rufiji Delta. This places it equidistant from the Selous Game Reserve and Zanzibar. The location of Mafia relative to these better known places is illustrated by our first map [map].
Where is Kinasi ?
Kinasi and La Lua Cheia are shown on the following map [map]. Kinasi Lodge is on Chole Bay in the centre of the marine park, while Lua Cheia is in the north close to the lighthouse. Together the two properties offer an amazing choice of bay and beach options and the complete "island life" experience.
